In UAE Electric Car Charging Stations Coming to Gas Stations

• The government is exploring the possibility of providing fast electric charging stations at gas stations that can complete the charging process in just 15 to 20 minutes.
• This will make charging electric cars more convenient and accessible for those on long-distance trips or with busy schedules.

UAE Ranks High in Transport Sustainability

The UAE has been recognized as the 13th most sustainable city globally in terms of transport sustainability which has led the government to formulate aims to establish the country as a sustainable leader and model for other nations to follow.

Dubai Taxis to Become Fully Environmentally Friendly by 2027

The RTA’s Board of Directors approved a plan that aims to make all taxis in Dubai eco-friendly including hybrids, electric cars, and hydrogen-powered vehicles. The deadline for this change is 2027. The decision was made to meet the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy’s standards. It also aligns with the Green Economy Drive and Dubai’s environmental sustainability goals.
