The exterior styling of Cadillac SRX is sharp and sporty; it is different from anything else out there. Edgy headlights and angular front bumper with Cadillac’s signature grille makes for a stunning front profile. The roofline and body slopes towards the rear creating a moving effect; however this compromises on the luggage space at the back. The tail lamps are designed in a horizontal pattern and look beautiful. SRX is aggressive and elegant; its razor sharp look gives it a sporty feel. Fine detailing of chrome on fog-lamps, exhaust tips, roof-rails and door handle are a treat to the eye. Sitting on 20” six spoke aluminium wheels (18” on base model), SRX projects a wide dominating stance. Like always, Cadillac successfully sets a new example in exterior styling…again.

The cabin space of SRX is luxurious, premium materials are gracefully crafted in a magnificent design. It bears resemblance to the aggressive styling on the exteriors. Seats are wrapped in leather and electronically adjusted for maximum comfort. Leg and head room on the first row is decent but the second row seats are congested. Cargo space in the boot is decent and the second row seats folded down make room for larger objects. The electric tailgate provides convenience and safety when loading and unloading objects. Numerous storage pockets can be found throughout the cabin for storing books, gloves, bottles etc. A large tilt and side sunroof provides beautiful panoramic views to add joy to your drive.

The dashboard is classily finished in leather and wooden trims. A multi-information LCD pops up from the central console when needed proving audio and navigation information, an elegant touch comes from the analog watch in the dead center of the central console. Audio comes through BOSE premium 10 speaker 5.1 channel surround sound system supporting CD, MP3, USB, AUX input and also includes Bluetooth voice recognition. A 40GB hard disk is incorporated into the entertainment system for music storage. A rear view camera with guide lines provides ease when parking. SRX is loaded with cutting edge technology, such features add luxury and convenience to your ride.

Cadillac SRX is powered by a 3.6L V6 VVT Direct Injection engine which produces a staggering 308HP at 4800RPM. Cadillac promises to deliver much higher performance with this engine as compared to the previously underpowered SRX. The basic model gets a 4-wheel independent suspension where else the luxury model sits on a sports suspension tweaked for better handling in corners.  Transmission is a 6-speed automatic AWD with paddle shifters and manual up/manual down. Technologies like StabiliTrak and Traction Control help in comfortably handling the SRX. With power and technology coming together, SRX provides a speedy drive with optimum control in your hands.

For safety, SRX provides six airbags as standard on both variants. ABS employs four-wheel power-assisted vented disc brakes which control the vehicle when emergency brakes are applied. Other safety features include Theft Deterrent system, tire pressure monitor and child seat restraint system.
