The latest player from Mitsubishi enter UAE is the all new Pajero 2012. With attractive body work, cutting edge technology and a responsive engine, Pajero has become a comfortable ride for thousands of families all over UAE. It’s the SUV which provides comfortable space with luxury and enough power for you to enjoy your weekend off-road trips.

Mitsubishi Pajero Ext 1

The body shape and curves of Pajero 2012 has been maintained from last year’s model as it was highly appreciated by people all over. The edgy headlights and sporty fog lamps with the sharp design of the bumper give Pajero a compelling stance. The front look of the SUV follows a box-pattern design with a flat bonnet and the front grille in a straight alignment with the head lamps. This adds a rugged feel to Pajero giving further affirmation to its SUV status. Straight and sharp lines flow down to the rear-end of the vehicle, roof rails and a spoiler add sportiness. A body colored covering on the spare wheel is a classy touch. Pajero looks striking with a rugged SUV personality merged with latest trends.

Mitsubishi Pajero Engine

A peek under the hood unveils the 3.8L, V6, 24Valve, SOHC ECI-MIVEC engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Pajero is also available with a 3.5L engine. With a high wheel base and a heavy duty chassis, this SUV is capable of delivering a good off-roading experience. Pajero features active stability traction control with brake assist. To further enhance stability, Pajero is packed with ABS with EBD and rear differential lock. Pajero sits on 18” light alloy wheels. The 6 SRS airbags provide safety in case of a collision.

The interior is elegantly done and neatly finished. A four spoke leather finished steering wheel holds audio controls and cruise control buttons. It also features the hands free telephone system via Bluetooth. Dashboard is modernly designed and crafted in chrome, wood and leather. Leather seats are comfortable and power adjusted. Space is ample and Pajero provides seating for 7, although the fire extinguisher placed below the front passenger seat kills the leg room. The last row seats conveniently fold down to the floor to allow a reasonably good cargo space. Yellow ambient lighting brings a lively feel to the interiors.

Mitsubishi Pajero Rockford System

Rockford provides mind-blowing music quality with a premium entertainment system featuring a 6 CD changer, 11 speakers and a huge sub-woofer placed in the rear. It supports CD/MP3/DVD playback and also hosts a USB and AUX jack to support your iPod and other music devices. An other LED screen provides information like outside temperature, barometer, compass etc. Such information comes in handy when off-roading.

Mitsubishi Pajero Ext 2

Mitsubishi has clearly made Pajero for people who love off-roading and enjoy it more with a luxurious touch. Space in ample, Rockford’s brilliant entertainment system and elegant interiors make it an apt family car as well. However, because of so many features at an economical price, every third car on the road is a Pajero making it “too common”. For people who don’t mind this, Pajero is clearly the way to go…
